Dr. Pulliam grew up in southeast Tennessee on his grandfather’s farm with a cow-calf operation that also produced tobacco, hay, and corn. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee – Knoxville before earning his DVM at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completing his clinical rotations at Texas A&M University. Dr. Pulliam brings diverse clinical experience from equine practice to small animal general practice, as well as extensive veterinary leadership experience managing multiple hospitals across several states. In 2017, he joined the faculty at Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine to develop the Professional Life Skills program, helping future veterinarians enhance their communication, leadership, financial literacy, business acumen, and professional wellbeing. Drawn to the beauty of the Cumberland Gap region, Dr. Pulliam established this practice to provide accessible, high-quality veterinary care to the community. When not serving patients, he and his family enjoy exploring the natural splendor of the Cumberland Gap area.
